Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Wishing you a safe and happy new year. Happy 2010!

Hatter Awards – A Farewell to 2009!

We thought we should send off 2009 with a bang! So here it is the inaugural Hatter Awards for 2009.

Best Game – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2- This first one was incredible and they made it better… Enough said.

Best TV Series – Entourage – This show will never get old, we just hope they continue to pump out seasons and dont end it.

Hottest Girl – Alessandra Ambrosio – Let’s just say this was a very difficult category to nail down, but I think our choice was pretty good.

Best Movie – “The Hurt Locker” – This movie was so incredibly intense, we recommend anyone who hasn’t seen it to go rent it/buy it immediately.

Best Music Album – Jay Z “The Blueprint 3″ – Ok… it was a down year in music, but that doesn’t mean that Jay Z didn’t put out a really good album.

Best Car – Aston Martin DB9 – At first we thought about selecting practical cars that were actually affordable, then we thought… could anyone really get Alessandra Ambrosio?

Biggest Douche bag – Jon Gosselin – Not much to really go into.

Biggest Surprise – Tiger Woods having multiple mistresses – We always assumed him as a nerd… boy were we wrong.

Best City – New York, NY – There are a lot of cities to fit this spot, but we’re East Coast bias at the moment… California will come strong next year.

Best Clothing Brand (not ours)Ugmonk – Simple, Clean, Stylish… we like.

Most Awkward Moment – Balloon Boy throws up on the Today Show – This whole situation was just ludacris to begin with, but this was a real treat… the dad’s reaction is perfect.

Hope you enjoyed the list… And we are eagerly waiting for 2010 and what we have to bring to everyone.  Have an awesome New Years!

Awesome Pictorial of Detroit Ruins

I have to give credit where credit is due, this is such an awesome collection of photographs. It amazing how one of the worlds’ most prosperous cities at one time is now the home to so many abandoned buildings…

Here are a few of the pictures, to see all of the photos check out – Yves Marchand & Romain Meffre Photography.

Enjoy,

Epic Skydiving Prank

Warning to all of my friends – If I ever would go skydiving (which is highly unlikely) and you ever pull something like this, I’d be likely to kill you after I overcome the immense relief that I am still alive. Check out the video below for an epic, yet totally inappropriate prank. I love it because it didn’t happen to me…haha.

DeLorean Exterior

DeLorean Interior

So I stumbled onto an ebay auction today for a replica of the 1981 DeLorean in one of my favorite childhood movies, Back to the Future. It turns out some guy took two long years to create this baby. The guy claims that this is “the most screen accurate Back to the Future Delorean Time Machine replica to ever appear on eBay.” You know what? I absolutely believe him 100%. I don’t believe many other people have a 1981 DeLorean, let alone a 1981 DeLorean that looks like Doc Brown’s time machine. Plus, I’m too lazy to do the research to find out if there are more replicas somewhere in the world. With that being said, I’ll take his word for it. Anyways, the starting bid is at the hefty price of $89,000. Although this seems pretty pricey, just think of the bragging rights you would have and how much ass you could pull with this thing. Those two things alone are worth the price tag. Now for the only downside about this machine. Because it is a replica, it does not include a working flux capacitor. Therefore, time travel is impossible. One more con – To confute Doc Brown’s famous words “Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.” you will unfortunately need roads because this thing doesn’t fly. Other than those two things, this work-of-art is totally worth it. Well that’s enough rambling from me and lets get to the point. Click here to go to the ebay auction.

2009 Coming to a Close

Well the Holiday season is coming to an end, only New Years left until the endless supply of bills comes in…

We look forward to an early 2010 launch with the shirts. The guys here would really like to hear some ideas/comments about anything you would love to see in the upcoming year out of the clothing world. More music themed tees? Less death and gore tees? More Simplistic? Anything at all…

We have our own style, but beyond that we would love to create something using our style to capture the wants of all our fans… After all this is for you guys so why shouldn’t you have an opinion.

If you have any ideas shoot them over to contact@hatterclothing.com

Thanks for the read,

Kyle
